Nice little park. Not much shade around the play area for summer.
Usually just a few visitors at a time, do not usually crazy like it can be at other parks. The kids love this park. I think they really enjoy being able to go to a different park than the one they usually go to.
Park is quiet in the downtown area of Swansboro. I have lupus and this park has shade swings that allow me to stay out of the sun while my children play. I also love the fact that it is gated and has many activities for the children. Park also has restrooms but we did not need to use them so I can't speak for their cleanliness.
It's a decent little ground for the kiddos to be a kid. And for some reason you don't feel or able to park around the park you should be able to park at the Methodist Church at least I think you would be able to.
It's a great little park to bring your kids. It has a bathroom and a few covered picnic tables. There is no formal parking but parking is not an issue usually. The only downside is that it isn't much or anything spectacular. My kids love it though.
