Nice place to take a stroll downtown Swansboro or get your line wet too.
It's small but pretty. Nice view of the White Oak River and ICW. Fun to fish there. There are benches and picnic tables to use on either side of Hwy 24. A walkway connects both sides of Hwy 24 by going under the bridge.
I love our little town, it's always clean and beautiful. The park is a nice place to begin or end a walk or run. I am thankful for the restrooms and they have always been clean when we've had to use them. Nice restaurants nearby with delicious food, too!
Good fishing if you know where to cast. Always clean, asides from the ones who disrespect the park and leave their trash everywhere, which i will always clean up out of respect for the wildlife and the park itself. This place is my weekly stop to get away from my weekly stress. Good fishing providing the right bait, and knowledge of the channels.
