I called Through the Looking Glass to send flowers to my mother for her birthday because they are local to her and her friend and neighbor recommended them. They definitely did NOT live up to the recommendation! I checked their website to pick an arrangement and selected "Fit for a Queen", which came in 3 sizes for $90, $100, and $110. I chose the $110 arrangement. I wanted her to have something lush and beautiful for her December birthday.
Beautiful flowers and arrangements. Very personable. Fine gifts and rare gifts for everyone. I even purchased puzzles for my grandson, and he loves it!!!
This business is running a racket! They are crooks, and my mother is making sure that all of her friends in Swansboro know about it.
My mother looked up the arrangement on Through the Looking Glass's website before she called me about the dying flowers. She was upset when she saw the starting price for them, and how the basic arrangement SHOULD have looked, never mind her reaction when she learned what I actually paid for.
The flowers were thin and pathetic, and not even to the $90 level! They lasted one day before turning black and dying.
Love them during Christmas time because they have fun ornaments.
I gave this business a week's notice to prepare the arrangement. They were not in a rush, and they could have ordered fresh flowers. It is clear that they used old, overly chilled, flowers (and very few of them) to make her bouquet.
Upscale gift shop. Nice items. A bit pricey.
My husband ordered flowers for me for our anniversary, I had someone call me to tell me they had a flower delivery and wanted to make sure I was home, so there goes the surprise. By day 3 all the roses were dead, completely dead petals had all fallen off and completely wilted. For flowers to be as expensive as they are I would think they'd last longer than 3 days. Will never order from here again.
