My husband is stationed at Camp Lejuene and after visiting Swansboro and finding Lovelys, it is my go to place. It is a very friendly environment with vacationers and locals. When our families visit, we can all find something adorable to wear. They always have fashions on trend, hand picked by Charlene the owner.
I spent hundreds of dollars on their overpriced clothes when I first moved to the area, there aren't many options in Swansboro. I quickly noticed that my clothes started falling apart, if not during first wear...it was during first wash. I stopped shopping there unless I was desperate for a specific occasion and couldn't find what I wanted at Cameo. Well recently, I was shopping for my husbands retirement ceremony and wanted a navy blue dress. I found 1 that would work. Upon getting dressed, I noticed it had a loose seam on the bottom front. I had no choice but to wear it and wasn't too concerned. Within 3 hours...the whole right side of the dress ripped out!!
I decided it was time to address this. I took the dress back to the store, I am very aware of their no return policy and had expected to shop for something else that would fall apart...but when I got to the counter and tried to explain to her about this and previous purchases...she commented "was this a medium" insinuating that I needed a large. No ma'am, it's a large! That being said, I wear both medium and large depending on the fit (I'm a DD). Regardless, extremely rude. She then says "well what do you want me to do about it?" I said I don't care if you refund or exchange it, but the dress shouldn't have fallen apart in 3 hours! She refunded it...very aggressively.
